Training that last a lifetime

Pastor Dan Renfro
I have been blessed to work for
companies that provide the best training from the top people in their fields. In
addition I have attended seminar after seminar, read all the books and been able
to TEST the programs in real life.
Following is a list of the trainings I
have taken and tested.
I am able to mold a program of coaching and or
training for you that will work because it is designed around these excellent
resources.

Ken Blanchard

In 1981, I
got out of the US Army and the I joined a company based in Houston, Tx. that was
using a new management training program led by a new comer on the leadership
training scene. The name of it was the “One Minute Manager” by the now
legendary Ken Blanchard.  I was lucky to be learning as this training was
being developed. In 2006
in Hollywood Florida attended a two day seminar with the Blanchard company on
Situational Leadership and again in 2007.  These seminars are now less than
$2000 for the day. I strongly suggest you attend one if you can.   Learn
More

Dr. Ken Blanchard is the cofounder and Chief Spiritual Officer
of The Ken Blanchard  Companies®, an international management training and
consulting firm that he and his wife, Margie Blanchard, began in 1979 in San
Diego, California. In addition to being a renowned speaker and consultant, Ken
also spends time as a visiting lecturer at his alma mater, Cornell University,
where he is a trustee emeritus of the Board of Trustees.

Patrick
Lencioni
Learn to Trust each other

The absolute nicest most sincere person I have ever seen
doing  training is Patrick Lencioni author of the “Five Dysfunctions
of Team
” book and program. He just cares about the people he is training and
about their success.  A man of faith and principles he gives a message of
practical application is a real and changing world. I have been to two
consultations sessions with Lencioni and have used the Five Dysfunctions with my
management teams for the past 3 years. Patrick Lencioni started The Table Group
in 1997 based on a principle he had been unconsciously developing since
childhood.  Growing up, Pat became fascinated with the world of work as he
listened to his dad describe the frustrating dysfunction and chaos within the
company where he worked for 40 years. Though he didn’t know it at the time, he
would eventually dedicate his career to helping organizations, and the people
who work within them, become healthier and more successful. Take some times to
look at all his books.

Jim Collins

Every manager in
business school has read his books. In 2003, I was in a room with 40 people as
Jim Collins told us about his life and his book that was turning two
years old that day.  He explained to us why good was the enemy of great.
Jim Collins was candid about his not so glorious childhood as well as his
very celebrated success’ with “Build to Last” and “Good to Great”.
He explained his books  had made so much money from helping others with this
book he was able to endow his own chair at the college where he does research.
Question and
answers time went a long while as you can imagine. Jim changed what business
people thought was ‘good enough’ in 2001 and revolutionized management training.
To learn these truths from the Jim’s own mouth was a priceless experience.
Built to Last, his previous top selling book was
  the defining
management study of the nineties, showed how great companies triumph over time
and how long-term sustained performance can be engineered into the DNA of an
enterprise from the very beginning. But what about the company that is not born
with great DNA? How can good companies, mediocre companies, even bad companies
achieve enduring greatness?

Jeffrey Gitomer talks about what it’s all about; RINGING
THE REGISTER!

One of the
trainings I attended a few years ago  was the most intense most fun and the
easiest to implement came from the guy who wrote the “Sales Bible”.  Not
just Sales training but the WHY & HOW of SALES. Jeffrey Gitomer is
the kind of guy who while training the 700 managers in my group  walked up and
down the aisles, talking with, the people he is training instead of,
talking at them, from the stage.  Seven hundred managers is a LOT to try this
with but he did it and did it well. He was voted one of the most fun and most
easy to implement training by those same managers. AUTHOR. Jeffrey Gitomer is
the author of The New York Times best sellers The Sales Bible, The Little Red
Book of Selling, The Little Black Book of Connections, and The Little Gold Book
of YES! Attitude. All of his books have been number one best sellers on
Amazon.com, including Customer Satisfaction is Worthless, Customer Loyalty is
Priceless, The Patterson Principles of Selling, The Little Red Book of Sales
Answers, The Little Green Book of Getting Your Way, The Little Platinum Book of
Cha-Ching
!, and The Little Teal Book of Trust. Jeffrey’s books have sold
millions of copies worldwide. OVER 100 PRESENTATIONS A YEAR. Jeffrey gives
public and corporate seminars, runs annual sales meetings, and conducts live and
Internet training programs on selling, customer loyalty, and personal
development.

Dan Renfro has attended, in person,
training sessions from the world’s best trainers

World Class Training from the top People in the the training
field.

THE CEO of JCmyHP, Pastor Dan Renfro says; “I have lived
every area I teach
“.  He continues,  While I
have read the books and been trained by the authors in these areas the
coaching you’ll receive
comes from those trainings and my experience, my winning experience. I have been
the top manager, trainer, sales person everywhere I have ever worked.
I have
been blessed to work for companies that provide the best training from the top
people in their fields. In addition I have attended seminar after seminar. This
page has descriptions of those trainings and trainers.

NON-Commissioned Sales! they said it could not be done, BUT we did
it!

NON-Commissioned Sales! In the early 90′s an unheard of
electronics’ company from Minnesota  with a few stores decided to go national.
Again I was lucky and blessed to be part of this expansion. Richard M. “Dick”
Schulze
the founder and CEO was large and in charge and went from a regional
player to the leading the largest Electronic Retailer in the world producing
44.5 Billion Dollars in revenues in 2008! As Best Buy developed the “how to” to
selling in a non commissioned world.

My
regional manager was Brian J. Dunn who is today the CEO of Best Buy.  Our region
led by Dunn was the best in the company.  Our District was the best in the
region and my store was the best in the district so my definition Best Buy was
the best in the world and my store was the best in Best Buy that made us the
BEST SALES TEAM IN THE WORLD!!!!.  Over the next few years my teams won
every contest and produced the highest gain over budget in revenues. We flat out
the most dollars in warranty sales in the companies history no matter what the
competing store size was.

Marcus Buckingham

Best Buy was a case
study for Marcus Buckingham while he was with the Gallop Organization and
he later became the featured Speaker and trainer for Best Buy for several years
after writing his first book “First Break all the Rules” which by the way
is a saying that goes back to 1994 at Best Buy. Best Buy  used to say about
conventional wisdom “If it ain’t broke, Break IT!“  Great Learning’s come
from breaking away from conventional wisdom ‘getting individual’ with people in
training and development. Marcus did coin the phrase that any intelligent
manager (there are many who are not) today will recognize “when he said you
must “TREAT PEOPLE DIFFERENTLY“. To do so you must know your employees and what motivates them.  I have been in
trainings with Buckingham with Best Buy and Barnes & Noble totaling five
times covering different books and all of his findings on how to help people
succeed on business and in life.  I strongly recommend all his books and
currently teach from them at every coaching session and seminar. We
must let people what they do best everyday!
